Olá Milão!
O dia começou bem cedo naquela que é considerada uma das cidades da moda :)
Assim que saímos da estação de comboios Cadorna conseguimos ver de imediato que estamos numa cidade dedicada à moda - há um alfinete gigante com uma linha :)
Depois fui então ver a famosa Praça Duomo, onde está a famosa Catedral de Milão.
São cerca de 15 minutos a pé de quem sai desta estação de comboios e o caminho é muito fácil.
Pelo caminho, sem querer, encontramos algo muito peculiar na Praça d'Affari.
Esta estátua tem o nome de L.O.V.E (liberdade, ódio, vingança e eternidade) e foi feita em 2010 supostamente em relação à crise económica que atravessa a Europa desde 2008. A estátua ia ficar apenas algumas semanas mas permanece até aos dias de hoje nesta praça.
A Praça Duomo estava, como era de esperar, cheia de turistas. Nesta praça é muito comum vendedores de rua colocarem pulseiras nos nossos pulsos e depois cobrarem o preço - por isso, muita atenção :) Há também muitos (!) pombos e quem venda milho para lhes dar de comer.
Do lado esquerdo da Catedral de Milão está a famosa Galeria Vittorio Emanuele
Nesta galeria há lojas de marcas famosas como por exemplo Prada, Gucci e alguns restaurantes. O interior da galeria é incrível.
Depois de um almoço tipicamente italiano, procurámos alguma sombra no Jardim Indro Montanelli, o maior espaço verde em Milão.
Por fim, fiz uma pequena visita ao Castelo Sforzesco, construído no século XV.

Hello Milan!
The day started very early in what is considered one of the cities of fashion :)
As soon as we leave the Cadorna train station we can see right away that we are in a city dedicated to fashion - there is a giant pin with a line :)
I went to see the famous Duomo Square, where is the famous Milan Cathedral.
It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station and it's really easy to get there.
Along the way, unintentionally, we find something very peculiar in the Place d'Affari.
This statue has the name of LOVE (freedom, hate, revenge and eternity) and was made in 2010 supposedly in relation to the economic crisis that has crossed Europe since 2008. The statue was to stay only a few weeks but it remains until the present day in this square .
The Duomo Square was, as expected, full of tourists. In this square it is very common for street vendors to put bracelets on our wrists and then charge the price - so pay attention :) There are also many (!) pigeons and people selling corn to feed them.
On the left side of the Milan Cathedral is the famous Vittorio Emanuele Gallery
In this gallery there are shops of famous brands like for example Prada, Gucci and some restaurants. The interior of the gallery is incredible.
After a typical Italian lunch, we looked for some shade in the Indro Montanelli Garden, the largest green space in Milan.
Finally, I made a short visit to the Sforzesco Castle, built in the 15th century.
