Oslo e o meu primeiro mercado de Natal :) (Noruega) / Oslo and my first Christmas market :) (Norway)

A Noruega foi o meu primeiro país da Península Escandinava. :)

Estavam 2 graus negativos quando aterrei, por volta das 12h. Não quis perder muito tempo e fui logo para o centro da cidade de Oslo, a capital - o pôr-do-sol nesta altura do ano começa por volta das 15h30.

Os trolls são figuras do folclore norueguês. Geralmente muito feios e pouco inteligentes, dizem-se criaturas muito trabalhadoras que vivem nas florestas e cavernas. 

O mercado de Natal!

Como acontece em todos os países nórdicos da Europa, esta é a altura dos mercados de Natal. Esta foi a minha primeira vez num deles e, apesar de não ser a maior fã do Natal, tenho de dizer que é difícil ficar indiferente. A neve do dia anterior estava a derreter por isso já só havia algum gelo no chão mas nem por isso deixou de ser o cenário perfeito.

Apesar de odiar o frio, Oslo entrou na lista das minhas cidades europeias preferidas :)

Norway was my first country visited in the Scandinavian Peninsula. :)

It was minus 2 degrees when I landed, around 12 o'clock. I did not want to waste too much time and went straight to the city center of Oslo, the capital - the sunset at this time of year begins around 3:30 p.m.


Trolls are figures of Norwegian folklore. Usually very ugly and unintelligent, they are said to be very hardworking creatures who live in the forests and caves.


The Christmas Market!
As in all Nordic countries in Europe, this is the time of the Christmas markets. This was my first time in one of them and although I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas I have to say it's hard to be indifferent. The snow from the previous day was melting so there was only ice on the ground but it was still perfect.


Despite hating the cold, Oslo is now one of my favorite European cities :)
