Olá Buenos Aires :)!
A temperatura rondava os 10 graus e só os mais corajosos - como eu - saíram à rua sem gorro e cachecol.
Como não tive muito tempo nesta cidade - que todos descrevem como sendo a Europa na América do Sul - optei por ir ao Bairro de La Boca onde se respira a verdadeira Argentina.
O Bairro de La Boca foi um bairro restaurado pelos estrangeiros que chegavam ao porto, situado ali perto. Quando reconstruíram o bairro, na zona do Caminito, fizeram-no com tábuas de madeira, que pintaram com as tintas que sobraram dos navios. O bairro ficou assim conhecido pelas coloridas cores das habitações.
Os conventillos eram as casas destes estrangeiros. Hoje em dia a maioria foi transformada em lojas de souvenirs.
Há inúmeras alusões ao Papa, ao Maradona e à figura de banda desenhada Mafalda - todos eles motivo de orgulho nacional.
A troco de 100 pesos (5€) é também possível tirar uma foto com um dançarino de tango, em plena rua do Caminito.
Na Argentina não são muitos os que falam inglês mas rapidamente conseguem encontrar uma forma de comunicar, nem que seja pelo espanhol aportuguesado de quem está habituado ao turismo brasileiro.
Um local definitivamente a voltar :)

The temperature was around 10 degrees, and only the bravest - like me - went out into the street without a hat and scarf.
I didn't have much time in this city - which everyone describes as being Europe in South America - so I chose to go to La Boca neighborhood where you can breathe the real Argentina.
The neighborhood of La Boca was a neighborhood restored by foreigners that arrived at the port, located near there. When they rebuilt the neighborhood, in the zone of Caminito, they made it with wooden boards, which they painted with the paints left over from the ships. The neighborhood is then known for the colorful colors of the houses.
The conventillos were the houses of these foreigners. Nowadays most have been turned into souvenir shops.
There are a lot of allusions to the Pope, Maradona and the cartoon figure Mafalda - all of them are national's pride.
In exchange for 100 pesos (5 €) it is also possible to take a photo with a tango dancer, in the heart of the Caminito street.
In Argentina there are not many english speakers but they quickly find a way to communicate.
